The Beginner’s Course has nearly finished, so it’s time to consider again whether you’d like to help at the Association Training Apiary.
Thu 14th pm – Sat 16th is proposed Taster Day
Sat 23rd – Bees will be inspected as part of the Safari, so no volunteers required
Sat 30th am – Work party grass cutting and
Sat 30th pm – Bee inspections
Sat 7th – Bee inspections
Sat 14th – when the Curdridge Show is on down south
Sat 21st am – to stir the bees up before the afternoon picnic!
Sat 28th am – Work party
Sat 28th pm – Bee inspections
Sat 4th – Bee Inspections
Sat 11th – Bee Inspections
Sat 18th – first day of the South Downs Show. Maybe change to Thursday 16th
Then we’ll be thinking about extracting, treating and what will we best do to get ready for the winter.
Our bees are not very good at the moment. Get some experience in how to make them better…!
Look forward to hearing from you, if you can spare a Saturday or two. It’s not usually onerous, it does require the commitment of time, of course…
