Meon Valley Beekeepers was established over 80 years ago and today we have over 100 members. Our aim is to promote the craft of beekeeping and the role of bees as pollinators.
We have a training apiary and we run taster days and training courses for people interested in keeping bees.
If you are interested in joining the association we are a friendly group and hold regular club nights and events throughout the year. We can assist newly trained members with acquiring bees and we provide mentoring.
Every year we attend many community shows and events to spread information about bees and we provide a swarm collection service.
If you need a swarm collected, are interested in keeping bees or want to know how to ‘help the bees’ with bee friendly garden planting all the information is available on our website or through the BBKA website.
