Every year we attend local shows to promote bees as pollinators and the craft of beekeeping. A demonstration hive allows adults and children to view bees at work with our members on hand to explain what they are seeing. Demonstration boards provide information on the bee life cycle, pests and disease, other types of pollinators and bee friendly plants to plant. A children’s quiz is a fun way for children to show what they have learnt.
