The Association Training Apiary has been established to promote the craft of beekeeping in the Meon Valley. It is an opportunity for new beekeepers to work closely with established beekeepers to tend the bees and develop the apiary.
An eight week practical course is run annually as a follow on from the theory course for new beekeepers.
The apiary also allows the association to host schools and other interested groups to learn about beekeeping and the important role that bees play as pollinators in the local environment.
If you wish to become a member or wish to arrange an educational visit, please contact Jean Frost.
Our winter meetings are now a blended mixture of Zoom and in-person, please see ‘Events’ and our newsletter for dates, topics and links.
If you need help or advice with your bees please send a message using the Enquiry Form, or message us on Facebook or message Jean directly.
