Taster Day 2026

Join us for our annual beekeeping taster day where you can learn all about the fascinating world of the honey bee. Start with a theoretical introduction to the biology of the honey bee, a bit of the history of this amazing craft, and how beekeepers manage them throughout the year. We will then move to our training apiary, set within the South Downs National Park, where we will have lunch, followed by opening up some of our colonies. You will be guided through the sights, smells and sounds of the hive, seeing firsthand how they live their intricate lives.
